Government Degree College Haldwani City was established on 18 October 2021 at Gaulapar (Haldwani) and since then it is fulfilling the aspirations of higher learning of the youth. The diversified socio-cultural background of the students makes this institution one of the leading colleges in the kumaun region of Uttarakhand.
The college is affiliated to Kumaun University, Nainital, Uttarakhand and its curriculum is formulated by the university under NEP 2020 which is implemented from current session 2022-2023.
